PARK TO PARK FITNESS WALK
The innovative format of the half-marathon taking place between the municipalities of Bacoli, Pozzuoli and Naples (starting from the Bacoli lakefront and finishing at Rotonda Diaz in via Caracciolo), includes several collateral events, such as the “Park to Park Camminata Sportiva (Fitness Walk).”
In fact, the ASD Naples Road Runners, always sensitive to health issues related to the world of sports, joins “Passo dopo passo”, a project under the responsibility of the local health board (ASL Napoli 2 Nord).
Walking is considered one of the easiest and most accessible physical activities, as well as very effective for health protection. When done regularly, this exercise helps reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Being not high-impact as running, it helps strengthen leg and hip muscles, improving bone density. Among other benefits, walking encourages people to exercise together and socialize, contributing to overall emotional well-being.
Health promotion therefore necessarily passes through the adoption of coordinated activities. In order to implement such synergies, the ASD Napoli Road Runners in cooperation with Federazione Italiana Camminatori Sportivi , proposes a new narration of the places, landscapes, nature and history of Campi Flegrei.
Underlying the project is the desire to promote and introduce the Campi Flegrei area through dynamic routes, in which physical activity is combined with the voice of a trainer and a licensed tour guide, thus allowing even distant locations to be reached in a pleasant way. There will be also “tasting stops” to enjoy local specialties.
The use of wireless headphones, then, will make it possible to combine sports, music and knowledge of cultural, archaeological and natural heritage to experience and feel the territory as a common heritage.
The Walk is not a competition but exclusively a recreational-motor activity and those who run will be invited just to walk.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
All participants must be at least 18 years old; minors must be accompanied or authorized by their parents. Spokesperson of the event will be the well-known musician and athlete who took part in the Ironman World Championship in Nice last month, Pino De Maio, as an active supporter of LILT, who will actually lead the walk. During the event, Pino De Maio himself will entertain participants with a musical performance.
REGISTRATION
Registrations on the website CRONOMETROGARA.IT – Park to Park Camminata Sportiva. Upon reaching 300 participants, registration will close. Fee per persona is 10€.

MEETING POINT
Registrants will meet at the parking area in Via Italia (a few meters beyond Bar Akademia) at 2:30 p.m. Participants are requested to respect the schedule.
HOW TO REACH THE MEETING POINT
The location can be reached by CUMANA, getting off at LIDO NAPOLI/LUCRINO stop. Alternatively, participants can arrive by their own means and park their vehicle in the PARKING area in Via Italia (meeting point). Bear in mind that the stretch of road to reach the meeting point is part of the “21 km Campi Flegrei 2024” race course. We recommend consulting the Napoli Road Runners Facebook page to stay updated.
GADGET
Technical T-shirts will be delivered before the start (from 2:45 to 3:15 a.m.). Any changes will be communicated on the “Napoli Road Runners” Facebook page.
POSTPONEMENT
Should the event not be held due to extraordinary causes beyond the organization’s control, it will be postponed to the earliest possible date. In case of total cancellation due to extraordinary situation, registration fee will be considered valid for the 2025 edition.

By accepting these regulations, participants consider the information provided in accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree n.196/2003 and art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 to be acquired and give their consent to the analog and digital processing of their personal data. These data will not be transferred to third parties – except in cases of due necessity for which identical legal obligations are met – and will be used exclusively for the dissemination of internal organizational material and communications.

By accepting these regulations, all participants expressly authorize to use still or moving images on which they will appear, the creation of all visual media as well as promotional materials and/or advertising products related to the event.
